"I sometimes feel the pressure, but now that it's finished, I just think it's going to do well," he says. "There will be some haters out there, but the right people are going to 'get' it."
Havey doom metal / stoner rock. I found a comment wich fits perfectly for this record: "Got high at school yesterday. I was so baked I thought that the law teacher was singing Electric Wizard, turned out my ipod was on."
A friend of a friend discovered this. Michael Yonkers started 'rockin' in the early 60´s and is a pretty good dancer ass you can see in the video below. I realy like song number 4. and 5.
First long player from the Suuns is a masterpiece. Realy deep, noisy and mysterious but melodic ass well. Heavy drum kicks will find the way in your brain. Enjoy
The third long player from Texan psychedelic rockers The Black Angels sees a maturity in their music. All the usual elements are still there, the spaced out vocals, the swirling psychedelic organ and the heavy guitar riffs but it sounds more laid back and more confident than the previous two efforts. Like it.
If James Murphy would be a novelist, he would write books that are longer than twothousend pages, in which hardly nothing happens. But over some pages you got the feeling you are really into it.
A really lovely Re-Edit from the all time hit "It Takes A Muscle To Fall In Love"(Spectral Display). I just bought me the vinyl, realy awesom. The artwok as well.
A massive and very depressiv record, which is mainly about the way or
the understanding of forgiveness and punishment of god in the history of
religion. The video below is kind of a foodnote to understand this
record. So have a nice time...
It sounds like erery instrument is twisted in the wind. Music wich comes from great distance, metallic guitars slicing across your palette in the foreground, a bit dry but good enough for a rainy sunday afternoon, wich would have been yesterday.
Mc Bean is back (like Monifaktur as well) with one of his recend side projekts „Black Mountain.” Strong 1970s-style riffs makes you feel realy fucked up. Close your door, turn up the music, drink some wine, fuck off. Am 27.09. werden die auch im Festsaal Kreuzberg sein.
The song is nice but the video is even better. The video for the tune, which re-edits scenes from the 1970 Swedish film A Swedish Love Story, is a nice complement to the song's vibe. Cool and now I need to watch this film.
